Let’s be honest, work boots kinda suck. I’ve worn the same big brands, different heights, styles, shapes, toes; they generally suck. I’ve had my Marin’s for a good bit now and the waterproof is amazing. I work in wastewater and at first I didn’t want to get them dirty but then the inevitable happened and I got them “wet”, but my feet stayed dry. I even cleaned them off after and they looked amazing and not stained. But that’s the pretty side of it.

I have wide feet, am a big guy and can walk through most footwear in a week. I tend to hurt at the end of the day in my legs and back. Well my Brunt Marin’s haven’t treated me as anything but a king. Between jumping into trucks, walking on wet platforms or working when $#!+ hits the fan literally, these boots are amazing. My next pair will be a pair of pull ons but I’m not dreading a new pair but an addition to an already great boot. These boots kick ***!

I have to laugh when I read the 1 star reviews as it is clear they either simply hate life or are flat out lying. If you want a pair of boots that are comfortable straight out of the box these are it. The leather may actually be too soft. I wear mine everywhere every day. They are more comfortable than my tennis shoes. They do seem to stain easy but it's a work boot so I don't count that as a negative. These are seriously the best boots I have owned in 35 years of wearing boots. Planning on getting a pair of the dark brown for my about town pair. Love them.
